The last of summer fun...

We've had a great end of the summer--but for most of it I forgot my camera. Maybe that's a good thing so that you will all be spared endless posts of my kids having fun. However, I did remember to bring it along last week to a splash park with my friend Erika, her kids, and a couple of Suzanna's friends. So much fun! We decided that the shaded park over on Thunderbird is well worth the drive, since it makes it so much nicer for the moms.
Brendon was more than happy to torment the girls in any way he could. Spraying them with water was a favorite.
Poor Jonathan didn't get into the fun. He was the first to want to go home, which is unusual for him. Luckily he toughed it out, though not as silently or happily as I would have liked =)

I went to this splash park about a week ago and it was a lot of fun. Elly was a little scared by the shooting water, but she had fun splashing for a little while. You're right that there is a lot of shade for the moms!

That is a fun splash park. I can't believe summer break is over... it went too fast! I just wish the heat would go with it... unfortunately it will feel like summer for the next 3 months! Ugh!

That looks like that was a fun place to go. I don't know why Jonathan wasn't having fun! It looks like Brendon had plenty of fun though! :)

Shade is a nice treat for the moms! I hate to sit in the sun. I usually end up wearing something that I can get wet too! ha ha...
Summers seem so short! I remember them being long when I was a kid!

That splash parks looks like a haven for Phoenix. I bet it was fun. The birthday cake you made was super cute too.
