So does it still count as a first day picture if you don't take it until AFTER school? I forgot to snap a picture in the morning because we were too busy getting out the door in time to walk to school (why my kids are excited to WALK, I don't know, but I'm grateful they are). So they thought I was silly when I made them pose later, but I say it's better than nothing--which is what I have for Suzanna's first day of kindergarten and Brendon's first day of second grade. And these are separate years. I'm really not good at these first day pictures....
They had a great day, and are both excited for a new year!

Suzanna is so pretty! I think I wrote that before, but she just looks so cute in this picture. And I say after school counts just fine!
First day is the first day!!
I love uniforms I think the kids look so cute in them. Just my opinion though.
The first day of school already? That seems so early to me! Probably because our semester doesn't start until the middle of September. They look really cute. You can't even really tell they have uniforms on.
Your kids are so cute and so old! Time goes so fast. We miss you guys, at least this helps us keep somewhat in touch.
You do what you can do. I think you just want to make sure they make it on time the first day so you don't start off bad. They sure start school earlier and earlier.
Of course it counts! I even think the next day counts for Mom's sanity:) They are so grown up! Looks like lots of fun this summer! We relaly should meet at the zoo or somewhere in between as it gets cooler! Miss you!
