Brendon celebrated his birthday with a sleepover last week since a couple of his friends are out of town for his actual birthday today. The boys had a great time and I made it through the night, so I guess it was a success !?! Actually, the party went wonderfully. The boys were great and entertained themselves with dart gun wars, Guitar Hero and other video games, and movies (until 1:00 a.m. I might add), since Tyler decided that swimming lessons didn't agree with him and threw up on the way home--just as the boys were arriving. I felt like I needed to keep Tyler away from the rest of the kids, even though I was pretty sure he wasn't contagious. Maybe that's the secret to a great party for a ten-year-old: less parental involvement in the fun...
And as for the pictures...the first is of Brendon's pathetic ice-cream cake. Word to the wise, homemade ice-cream does not work so well for making an ice-cream cake. And I didn't get a picture of all boys who came, so this one of present opening will have to do.

Cool cake! Looks like you had a lot of fun at your party Brendon! Happy Birthday again!! Your in the double digits now, your getting so grown up.
What a fun party! That's a good idea to try homemade ice-cream for a cake, but I guess it doesn't work! Happy Birthday again!
I bet the homemade ice cream cake tasted delicious, though! I'm a sucker for homemade ice cream. Holy cow, look at Suzanna's hair in that first picture! It's like spun gold. She has awesome hair.
That cake really does look yummy. Ice cream cake is the only way to go!
I always feel the same after a party... we survived! Sounds like he had a fun party.
