Way back in April I went with Jonathan's class to Kathrine's Landing (a part of Lake Mead?) for a field trip. Suzanna's class went to the same place about a month before, and she had talked nonstop about how wonderful it was, about the hieroglyphics, about all the Indian pottery, and so much more. Sounds pretty good, right?
Somehow, even though we went to the same place, we did not go to the same place. All we did was look at holes in the ground. Really. And not big holes. Small holes where small animals escape the heat. Our only escape from the heat was when we got to sit in the picnic area and pass around some animal furs.
I want to go back and find the hieroglyphics!!
