So here's a very quick update of a few of the things we've been up to in the last few weeks:
SPIRIT WEEK
I only took pictures on crazy hair day (my kids favorite!), but they had fun dressing up everyday. I think that every kid loves spirit week, but kids who have to wear uniforms to school everyday REALLY appreciate a change.
THE SCIENCE FAIR
Brendon won first place in his class for his lemon battery experiment. We all learned a lot about batteries and procrastination.
Brendon also tested gifted in Math!! We're hoping that means he can be put in some "honors" type classes at the middle school next year. I'm still very worried about sending him there--and now that the middle school's roof collapsed without warning last week...I'm sooo wishing we had another option.
LOGAN'S BLESSING
We traveled to St. David the first Sunday in May to be with my brother Cory and his family as he blessed their son Logan. We had a great time at the lunch and going to church with them.

Laur'l and Suzanna

Adele

Suzanna loved holding baby Logan. Look at that cute hand! Guess he's already a little camera shy, even in his sleep.
SPLASH PARK DAYS
We've spent every Thursday afternoon at different splash parks around our area playing with friends and getting sunburns.
Suzanna loves to hold her "other baby Logan" -- her friend's baby brother. Such a girl =)
Ty loves anything that resembles a sword or lightsaber.
And Brendon and Jonathan like to throw things in the buckets and wait for them to pour out when they're not riding bikes or scooters around the park. It's great to be able to get wet and then play at the park. Almost makes the hot weather bearable =)
MESSING UP TY'S NAPS
That's pretty much all we've done lately--screw up his sleeping schedule with all our fun. I almost just want him to be done taking naps so we don't have to plan around him anymore. Almost.
Brendon took this picture to prove Ty had fallen asleep at 5 last week while I was too busy making dinner to walk upstairs to check for myself. My kids like to trick me, so one was saying he was asleep and the other was saying he was awake. They thought they were pretty funny getting some "evidence" to prove who was right =)
NEW TENT=READY FOR SUMMER CAMPING
We're tired of squeezing into two small tents, so when we found a great deal on a new tent that will fit us all, we had to get it. Then we had to set it up in the backyard and see how everything fits. You can't tell from the picture, but it's plenty big and we're all excited to try it out for real on some great camping trips this summer!
NOT PICTURED:
Mother's day fun--the kids made me some great cards and I requested new clothes and shoes as my gift. I've been having fun shopping without kids for these. That's the real present!
Another great Father & Sons outing for the boys--and Tyler's first. He absolutely loved it until he was eating breakfast at a table and a big tractor came to pick up some tables close by to take them over to be repaired. He lost it. Freaked out so much about that (and later about a dog)that I've heard the story from many others in the ward =). But what would you do if you were 2 and sitting at a table and a huge tractor was picking up tables right by you?? Totally justifiable freak out if you ask me.
And a great girls' night out for Suzanna and me while the boys were away. We had fun hanging out at the mall, buying a new outfit for her Build-a-Bear, eating out at Sweet Tomatoes, and watching movies until way too late at night.
There's more...but I'm out of time. Hopefully we'll post again before another three weeks go by.

Loved all of it!
I love the Spirit Week hair! It's awesome! You do so many fun things. It looks that you guys are really enjoying your summer!
Wow, their hair was awesome! Lots of fun pictures. I'm a little freaked out about that school roof collapsing too...
